The Real Story of Halloween

The History Channel's The Real Story of Halloween will take your students through the complete journey of Halloween. Your students will learn about Gaelic harvest festivals to John Carpenter's film Halloween, Lemuria, witches, and the origins of trick-or-treating.

Animated Adaption of 'The Tell-Tale Heart'

Orson Welles radio adaptation of H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds created a mass panic during its first broadcast! Its news bulletin format caught radio listeners off guard. Many of them thought that a Martian invasion was actually happening while they sat listening at home. Take your class back in time to 1938 and check out this radio show to imagine what it would have been like to listen for yourself!
